TSA PreCheck Application Center To Open In March

Temporary Location Will Allow Onsite Enrollments March 7 – 11, 2016

Madison, WI – Residents of Dane County and the south central Wisconsin area will be able to enroll in the Transportation Security Administration’s popular TSA PreCheck Application Program onsite at Dane County Regional Airport March 7 to 11, where officials will host a temporary application center.

"Dane County Regional Airport is a world-class airport, this is yet another example of the great service you can get right here in Dane County," said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. "If you fly often this is a great option to ensure you get through the airport safely and quickly."

Travelers need only to make an appointment online and complete their enrollment in-person or as a walk-in at the application center. The application center will be located in the airline ticket area on the south-end of the terminal concourse and will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week.

"We are extremely pleased to offer onsite enrollment for our passengers," said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE. "TSA PreCheck is another opportunity to make travel at our airport easy and stress-free."

This application process allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to enroll directly in TSA PreCheck – an expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in select TSA airport checkpoint screening lanes. More than 160 airports are participating in TSA PreCheck nationwide and 13 airlines participate in the program including Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, One Jet, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country, United Airlines, WestJet, Virgin America and Air Canada.
