Paraglider Critically Injured

At 8:24 pm on Thursday, July 18th, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with EMS, responded to the area of 457 Union Road in the town of Oregon for a paraglider who was injured when his parachute did not deploy.

Witnesses reported the 33-year-old man began having issues at an altitude of approximately 300 feet. He sustained life threatening injuries and was transported by Brooklyn EMS to a local hospital.
