Hunter Sight-In

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office will host the annual Hunter Sight-In event at the Dane County Law Enforcement Training Center starting Friday, November 10th and running through November 17th. Please note, this is a slightly shorter schedule than in past years.

• Hours of operation will be 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Shooters must be off the range by 4:00 pm.

• The cost is $10 for the first gun and $5 for each additional gun.

• Only firearms legal for hunting deer in Wisconsin will be permitted.

Experienced instructors will be on hand to provide assistance in the sighting-in and adjusting of firearms. Bore Sighting and scope mounting are available. 

Hearing and eye protection is mandatory and will be provided, or you may use your own. Hunters will also be able to receive information on hunting laws, regulations, and gun safety.

The training center is located between Interstate 90/94 and Waunakee at 5184 State Highway 19. No appointment is necessary. For additional information, please call 608-284-2400.
