At 10:43 am, a Dane County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop near North Walbridge and Parkwood Lane in the City of Madison. The deputy stopped the driver after he nearly hit the deputy’s squad while pulling into a parking lot.

Michael P. Rogers, age 57 of Madison, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 4th offense and Open Intoxicants. Rogers was actively consuming a beer at the time of the traffic stop. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on the tentative felony charge.
